Nominations for the Northern Business Achievement Awards (NBAA) are invited from a broad range of industry and business sectors.
The focus of the awards is at small to medium enterprises that have contributed to the growth of a tradition of excellence in the North and which provides a role model for other companies to aspire to.
Nominations are open to all businesses that are based in or operate predominantly in Melbourne's North. Nominations can be made via each of the six local councils in Melbourne's North who are represented on the board of the NBAA Foundation.
Entries will be considered on the basis of initiative, innovation, enthusiasm, quality and service, participation in export/import replacement, and human resource excellence.
Selected nominees will present at one of a series of NBAA breakfasts throughout the year. Effective presentation skills are essential, as the audience at each NBAA breakfast is expected to be at least two hundred people.
Nominees will be eligible for one or more of the seven Business Achiever awards presented at the end-of-year Grand Finale Breakfast.
